Jim's background include live performances with Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters. His versatile talent has been featured with many local groups over the past decades, and on numerous local recordings. He is noted for his superb piano and rhythm section arrangements for his duo and quartet. Janice spent 5 years touring the world with Ray Charles as one of his backup vocalists.
She has also backed up an extensive list of legendary artists, including Nancy Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Jimmy Smith and Melba Moore. While living on the west coast Janice performed as dancer-singer for production shows on cruise ships and in the casinos of northern Nevada. Janice was inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame 2000.
In the late nineties Jim and Janice met while working together and formed a team. They now combine their talents to offer the classic jazz standards in their own signature gospel-blues style.

Jerry Livingston, bassist, who has recorded with such artist as Miki Howard, Stephanie Mills, Liberty Silvers, and Rick James.
Abdul Qadir, superb drummer whose credits include working with Hank Crawford, Lonnie Smith, Delfeyo Marsalis, and ZZ Hill.
The group will again bring forward Jim's arrangements of American jazz standards, as they return to the Historical Lewiston Jazz Festival 2011.
