Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival Announces New Officers, Music & Jazz Coordinator for 2017
The Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival will be ringing in its’ 16th year with new leadership at the helm. Mr. George Osborne, retired President of Artpark & Company has been appointed to Chairman of the Executive Board.
“Following the outstanding leadership of Dick Soluri and Carol Calato will not be an easy task, but I am grateful for the opportunity that has been provided to me by the Jazz Festival Board of Directors and excited about the prospects for an even better Festival in the coming years. With new management, a new music coordinator, a talented Board of Directors, and strong support from our sponsors and community, this coming year will be onward & upward”, Osbourne stated.
Other appointees to the Executive Board include Ms. Carol Calato, President of Calato Manufacturing to First Vice Chair, Ms. Margaret Toohey from Lewiston Insurance Agency to Treasurer , Mr. Kevin Montante from Montante Solar to Secretary and Mr. Jeff Jordan to Operations Director. New Board of Director appointments were also made to the Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival Board:

The Executive Coordinator position has also changed hands to the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is looking forward to organizing the logistics and sponsorship of the festival. The Chamber is currently working with 360PSG of Amherst to design a new logo and website for the Jazz Festival.
Mr. Tony Zambito, local musician and founder of www.jazzbuffalo.org has been named the new Music Coordinator. The 16th Annual Historic Lewiston Jazz Festival will take place Friday, August 25 and Saturday, August 26, 2017.
