The Historical Lewiston Jazz Festival enters its ninth year on August 27th and 28th 2010. Jazz musicians will perform throughout the Village of Lewiston, NY in numerous restaurants and pubs -- as well as at a variety of outdoor sites along Center Street -- on Friday evening and all day Saturday. All jazz performances are FREE to the public.
In addition to enjoying jazz performed by world-class musicians, attendees at this FREE event can browse for treasures at a premier jewelry show, view Jaguars and other classic cars at a vintage car show, and sample a wide array of culinary delights provided by local restaurants and regional wine producers. This Festival is hosted by the Lewiston Jazz Festival, Inc., and the Town and Village of Lewiston.
In addition to hearing some hot jazz, visitors will have the opportunity on Friday night and Saturday to taste some very cool food as the region's finest chefs come out of their kitchens and onto the street to showcase their culinary talents, offering everything to delight your palate... from grilled ravioli to rice balls to greek souvlaki to traditional WNY Beef on Weck. To whet your appetite, a selection of wines from the Niagara Wine Trail will be available for your enjoyment.

The 2010 Jewelry Show will be located on the corner of South Fifth and Center Street. Under the tent, you will find extraordinary jewelry vendors featuring everything from vintage to contemporary pieces.
Don't leave the Jazz Festival without stopping by the Jazz Shoppe, located in front of Stuart Sports near North Fifth Street at 486 Center Street. Here you will find our signature Jazz Festival apparel and an assortment of Jazz related wearables. You can also purchase CD's by featured festival artists.

About the Music
The Lewiston Jazz Festival offers a wide variety of jazz styles. Our "rising stars" of the twenty to thirty something age group, will grab you with their emerging interpretations of this musical genre. Our more seasoned musicians will perform jazz tunes that span six decades of straight on-jazz, latin jazz or pop-infused favorites. In between we have solos, trios and big bands. It's all about jazz here but there's enough of a variety to make you want to see every single performance.
Classic Car Show
Saturday, August 28
Noon to 5pm
The 2010 Car Show is located along Center Street and will feature vintage Jaguars, British cars, European collector cars and cars of special interest. Participation in this show, coordinated by Jag Buffalo, is by invitation only.
