The Northwest Jazz Festival highlights local, national and international musicians each year at the two-day festival.  The Board of Directors also takes time to recognize the accomplishments of those who give their time and talent to further jazz in the community through the Jazz Festival Ambassador Award. 

This year the award is given longtime jazz festival volunteer and Lewiston resident, Jeff Jordan. 

Center Street will close at 5am on Friday, August 23rd from 4th Street to 7th Street.  The cross streets at 4th and 7th will remain open both North and South. 

Center Street will re-open on Sunday 8/25 at approximately 4am.

The Buffalo Jazz Composeres Workshop will kick off the new music in the park series at Artpark in August, one week before the Northwest Jazz Festival in the Village of Lewiston.

What a night it was!  Carol Calato and Tony Zambito had a chance to honor Lázara Martinez at Pausa for her Jazz Ambassador Award!

All interested musicians / music groups are encouraged to apply online for consideration to perform at the 2024 festival!
