Jonathan Hughes: 
Jonathan Hughes is an electric bassist and composer from Buffalo, NY. Since 2018's "Luna," he's released seven albums, with "Evenfall" earning Best Release in Jazz Buffalo's 2019 poll. His recent albums, influenced by ECM artists, balance minimalism with groove. Jonathan is a founding member of the Robot Holiday collective, and has also performed and recorded with numerous local musicians, He has also composed the original music for three films including the Independent Spirit Award-winning “August Evening.” His most recent album, “Aqua”, features Tim Clarke on Flugelhorn, Harry Graser on Piano, Rob Lynch on Drums. This quartet’s performance at the 2024 Lewiston Jazz Festival will feature songs from “Aqua” as well as other original compositions.

Tim Clarke:

Tim Clarke is a Buffalo NY-based jazz trumpet player, composer/arranger and music producer.  Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Tim moved to the Western New York area in 2007 and quickly established himself as a creative trumpet of choice for many diverse musical groups and settings.    

Tim currently performs with a wide range of jazz-oriented groups, including Star People, Buffalo Jazz Composers Workshop, The Genkin Philharmonic, The Joey Gonzalez Collective, the WNY Big Band, and the Morgan Street Stompers.  In addition to his jazz-related activities, Tim holds a senior-level audio production position at Fisher-Price, Inc.    

Harry Graser:

Harry Graser is a pianist from Buffalo, NY. He has been involved in the Buffalo music scene from a young age, performing in a variety of ensembles and genres. Harry has performed at the Rochester, Lewiston, and Queen City jazz festivals. Besides performing, Harry appears on a number of recordings, and has composed and arranged his own music. Harry graduated from Purchase College, SUNY, with a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Performance.

Rob Lynch:

Rob Lynch is a musician, painter, and teacher from Niagara Falls, N.Y. Rob has produced four solo recordings of “bittersweet art pop”, one of which was proclaimed by Buffalo News music critic Jeff Miers as, “One of the best releases of the year, period. Stunning.” He also has a long history as a session musician working with artists including Peter Case, Ani DiFranco (in collaboration with Michael Meldrum), Hussalonia, and Rex Hobart. He is also a founding member of Robot Holiday, a group of Western New York musicians who play non-traditional Christmas songs every year. In 2011, Lynch became one of the youngest artists ever inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.
