Cheryl Ferris has been singing professionally for decades with a variety of combos and big bands in and around the Buffalo area. The larger ensembles include Buffalo Jazz & Swing and The Joe Baudo Big Band, as well as guest vocalist with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.
Cheryl especially loves singing jazz standards with a smaller combo of musicians. She takes great joy in adding new music to her extensive songbooks to include in shows at venues such as the Pausa Art House, Beebe’s at the Gallery, and The Jazz Lounge. Choosing just the right combination of songs, instrumentation, and arrangements for each engagement keeps her performances fresh and engaging.
