The Temple University Parliament Sextet is a premier small ensemble within Temple University’s Boyer College of Music, performing under the direction of Grammy award-winning saxophonist Ted Nash. The ensemble specializes in original compositions and innovative arrangements that honor the rich legacy of jazz while actively shaping its future.
The sextet has attained national and international recognition, most notably earning First Place in the Small Group category at the 2026 National Collegiate Jazz Championship produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center - affirming their artistry, precision, and forward-thinking musical vision.
Later this year, they will also be coming out with their debut album, recorded live in Kyoto, Japan.
