More beautiful than ever, in a twenty-plus-year-career, DeeAnn releases, a new collection of American jazz and folk classics that is reminiscent of Popular hits from the 1940’s to the 2000’s. It is dedicated to her late son William Tompkins. DeeAnn took flight as a country singer and now returns to pay homage to her first love of Jazz and Pop. A self-described “mother and human being first” DeeAnn is a timeless voice, but for those who have felt pain, and who still stand shining light, against all odds. With a voice that is big, rich and gorgeous, a mind that is intelligent, and a heart that transforms suffering into beauty, DeeAnn sings for our enlightenment, for our souls.

‘It’s My Time’ is a story of one woman’s journey to find faith and hope after losing her firstborn son; sung by a stunning DeeAnn we’ve not yet heard. Start pouring the fine wine. Squeezed grapes produce better wine. DeeAnn gives of herself to such a degree that she elicits tears and gasps and goose bumps from audiences. In her lyrics, she writes of inner struggle, of redemption, a woman’s perspective, supposition and self-love.

Hailing from a small steel town, DeeAnn was raised in a musical family, learning standards that would eventually become her melodious bastion. As a songstress, she draws much of the early inspiration from when she was introduced to the vocal stylings of Buffalo Blue Note legend, DoDo Green, attended multiple jazz jams, and more often mimicked the smooth vocal stylings of her father, singer Frank DiMeo, who was a staple in both the local and larger community.

In the 90’s DeeAnn won “Best Female Vocalist” at the Buffalo Music Awards two years in a row and since her return in 2016 won “Best Female Blues Vocalist” for Buffalo Night Life Awards. She was recently inducted into the Niagara Falls Hall Of Fame. After successfully producing her first full cd ‘Desperately Seeking DeeAnn’ in 2016 and receiving multiple award nominations for her work, ‘Stay Here’, DeeAnn broke boundaries with a searcher’s spirit.

This year DeeAnn has released a new live CD (DeeAnn Live @ The Cave), a new single (Writing On The Wall), and is set to release a fourth CD, ‘It’s My Time’ Spring 2023. DeeAnn walks her path with her fans, writing out her life, sharing her connection at concerts and over social media. With a loyal fan base who appreciates the depth of her catalog, the loving artist- fan relationship, and the wisdom earned through pain, tears and joy, DeeAnn is proud to go independently and with the help of the Hart 2 Heart Music team, under the direction of RiShon Odel.
