Award winning musician, content creator, actor, producer Donny Frauenhofer is an award winning virtuosic pianist,
bandleader, songwriter, composer, arranger, and educator from Buffalo, NY that has been making big waves both regionally
as well as nationally in several genres since the start of his professional career. His trio represents a potpourri of the jazz experience
that is truly original and differs with every live experience by approaching jazz not as a museum exhibit, but as a living,
breathing art-form with both a history behind but a future ahead. Modern jazz and fusion leaning, each show takes the
listener on a journey through contemporary approaches, while still keeping space for classic bop and swing numbers.

Donny outlines the outstretching arms of the influence of jazz and blues - an experience satisfying the casual, the diehard, all while bringing in a new generation.

He has performed at national festivals such as Summer Camp Music Festival, Northwest Jazz Festival, Night Lights Music Festival, Some Kind of Jam, Queen City Jazz Festival, Woodhenge Sustainability Festival, among others.

Largely known as Buffalo, NY’s best kept secret, the secret is out with critics applauding his debut release “Uppin’ the Ante” and winning awards in 2023 for Buffalo’s Best Jazz Fusion Act and Best Jazz Soul/Funk Act.
